Of course, an Accelerate event would not be complete without opportunities to mingle and enjoy the city where the event takes place.
What to Expect From Accelerate Chicago
Accelerate will take place at our North American Headquarters in Chicago and will take place over 2 days on the 17th and 18th of September. Participants who attend on the first day will have the opportunity to mingle and relax via some friendly competition with one of America’s favorite pastimes – bowling. There will also be a chance to experience Chicago’s landscape from a river cruise and enjoy excellent cuisine at one of Chicago’s top restaurants.
Presentations from this year will fall into two tracks – “Customer Perspectives on Pricing Strategy” and “Industry Perspectives on the Future of Pricing”. Each track has been specially tailored to help attendees find inspiration from customers who are leading experts in their field as well as to discover trends in pricing that are affecting their industries.
Joanne Smith – Price to Profits Consulting
Joanne Smith is the author of “The Pricing and Profit Playbook” and has over 20 years of pricing experience. Before transitioning to consulting, Joanne was the Marketing and Pricing Director at Dupont where she moved Dupont from a company with no pricing organization or uniform company-wide pricing to one where “performance, competency and high profits” became synonymous with pricing.
Ian Tidswell – een Consulting
Ian Tidswell has 15 years of experience in pricing and was the Global Head of Pricing for a large agricultural chemical manufacturer. While there, he was able to build and lead the pricing team which resulted in notable increases in profit for the company. Ian’s approach to pricing is one of collaboration where he helps his clients to find simple and practical solutions to complex problems.
