How can I get started with the new version of these capabilities?
  • If there's no to low configuration of these capabilities, a Pricefx Admin can enable the new version of these capabilities through Feature Flags. Always test it in QA with a few users before deploying it to all Pricefx users. Find out more about how to deploy it here.
  • If there's a medium to high configuration of these capabilities, reach out to your contact at Pricefx and they will help you understand if there will be an impact on the overall application when migrating.
What if a partner is responsible for the Pricefx configuration
First, your partner should understand the configuration level and then proceed with the next steps depending on that (see answer above).  Partners should contact their contact at Pricefx and work on a migration plan if needed. They would then work with the customer to migrate to the new version of these capabilities.
How long does the migration take?
We estimate around one month from the start of testing to the deployment to all users. This timeframe can highly fluctuate depending on the level of configuration of the Pricefx application.
Is there a time limit as to when the migration should happen?

We will discontinue the old version for Quoting, Agreements & Promotions, Rebates End of June 2025 (Release 15.0)

Customers hosted in a Private Environment have the option to hold off on the upgrade until June 2025, however by the End of January 2026 (Release 16.0) they will be moved to the new version to be compliant with our N-1 policy.

We advise you to start the migration process as soon as possible, to avoid a sudden change in the application at the times mentioned above. The Pricefx team will be here to support you in your migration journey
