Data Privacy

As with data security, we take our responsibility to protect individuals’ data privacy seriously and have implemented policies and procedures to ensure we handle personal data appropriately and at all times in compliance with applicable law.

Data privacy practices

  • Regular review of compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the GDPR and the CCPA.
  • Data is localized within the jurisdiction in which it’s collected (where feasible), and cross-border transfers are carried out in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Subprocessors – we engage subprocessors to support our business / operations, in all cases following appropriate diligence and under compliant / industry-standard data processing agreements.

Responsibility at Pricefx

Definition of Responsibility to Pricefx = aspects of Pricefx’s business that limit negative impacts to our stakeholders and ensure value is created without undue risk or cost. Responsibility is about showing that Pricefx takes broader considerations (not just financial) into account when making decisions / taking actions.

Sustainability

For Pricefx, ESG is not about buzz words, it’s about our belief in the power of small actions to make significant changes. Our ESG practices / initiatives are designed to integrate sustainability into all of our business practices to support a sustainable future. We are still early in our ESG / sustainability journey – we’ve made great strides in our initial work but see a lot of good things to come.

Diversity and Inclusion Dimensions

At Pricefx, we know that building a good workforce means getting the best, most capable people (recognizing merit). However, we believe that building a great workforce means getting the most out of that merit by cultivating diversity of thought and experience (merit is bare minimum, diversity / inclusion drives most value from merit).

Since our founding, we’ve prioritized diversity and inclusion across several dimensions:

  • Violence-, harassment-, and discrimination-free workplace and associated policies / trainings
  • Inclusivity efforts via informal employee resource groups, diversity recruiting alliances
  • Pay equity and transparency (NOTE: for actual content, we should coordinate w/ People & Culture as to the level of detail with which they’d be comfortable concerning gender pay gaps)
  • D&I policies and awareness and education, including mandatory cultural differences trainings and optional content designed to improve awareness of D&I topics
  • Compliance with the law – we focus on D&I because we believe it produces value. However, we always ensure that our employment practices are compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Pricefx has been an AI innovation leader since its founding, and we’ve doubled down on AI as it’s increased in sophistication and usefulness (both in products / for our customers and to improve our own business / for ourselves). We see great value potential in AI but also recognize that, as an emerging and fast-changing technology, it carries significant risk. We therefore have committed ourselves to ‘Responsible AI' meaning all of our use and development of AI is designed to minimize adverse outcomes, observe applicable ethical standards, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
