Paloma 17: agent tasks, negotiation guidance, and a new knowledge base
Paloma 17 shipped on 28 June 2026. It added contextual Action Tasks for Pricefx Agents, two new AI Optimization use cases, and a rebuilt Pricefx Knowledge Base.
What Paloma 17 delivered
Six areas changed in this release. Three affect how pricing and sales teams work day to day. Three affect platform operations, documentation, and what customers need to plan for.
Pricefx Agents and Pricefx Copilot
Agent findings now group into Actions with contextual Action Tasks attached, so a pricing analyst works through a prioritized queue rather than a list of alerts. Pricefx Copilot can also draw on multiple data sources when building an agent.
AI Optimization
Two AI use cases advanced in this release. Negotiation Guidance gives sellers floor, target, and stretch positions inside the quote. List Price Optimization sets and adjusts list prices against your objectives and guardrails.
Import Manager
Add, update, validate, and export data directly inside the Pricefx application. Paloma 17 added direct imports that bypass approval workflows where permitted, and the ability to create imports in-app.
Platform operations
Schedule pre-calculation of dashboards so they load ready, recalculate documents in the background instead of blocking users, and validate data files before upload in PlatformManager.
New Pricefx Knowledge Base
Product documentation moved to a rebuilt Knowledge Base with an embedded AI chatbot and MCP access, so your teams and your approved AI assistants can both search it.
Deprecated features
The Pricefx Excel Client and Data Change Request are being retired and replaced by Import Manager. Plan migration of any process that depends on either one.
Our N-1 release policy
Pricefx provides official support for the two most recent releases: the current release and the one before it.
Major releases ship twice a year. When a new major release becomes available, the oldest supported release moves out of support.
The release calendar shows which releases are currently supported and when the next one is due.
